We are biologists, fisheries experts and marine conservation professionals who conduct scientific research and other endeavours to preserve marine biodiversity and reduce human impacts on cetaceans, with emphasis on the Mediterranean.
We produce scientific publications and disseminate science-based information with focus on factors threatening dolphins and marine life. We monitor dolphin populations to assess abundance, detect trends and identify important habitat.
In collaboration with Texas A&M University and OceanCare, we organize and co-teach marine biology courses and other education programmes to increase expertise in marine conservation.
Through a variety of media, we raise awareness on the importance of protecting dolphins and respecting the marine environment.
Finally, in collaboration with OceanCare, we welcome international participants to join us in the field and contribute to marine research and conservation objectives.
