Originally from Florida, Kaylyn earned a B.S. in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from the University of Florida in 2020. Her expertise ranges from prescribed fire, to endangered species surveys, to insect identification. She is currently based in Italy, where she is pursuing an M.Sc. in Environmental Management. She has been volunteering with Dolphin Biology and Conservation since June 2025, analysing thousands of photos of dolphin dorsal fins taken in the Adriatic Sea.
